Agreement to Our Legal Terms

These terms apply to services provided by Andrew Brockman DBA Build Like A Business ("Build Like A Business," "we," "us," or "our") in Jacksonville, Florida.

We operate the website https://buildlikeabusiness.com (the "Site"), as well as any other related products and services that refer or link to these legal terms (the "Legal Terms") (collectively, the "Services").

Build Like A Business provides Local SEO, website design and hosting, and related consulting services for local businesses. The specific services, scope, price, and starting date provided to you are those set out in your accepted proposal, quote, or written agreement.

These Legal Terms constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you"), and Andrew Brockman DBA Build Like A Business, concerning your access to and use of the Services. You agree that by accessing the Services, you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Legal Terms. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH ALL OF THESE LEGAL TERMS, THEN YOU ARE EXPRESSLY PROHIBITED FROM USING THE SERVICES AND YOU MUST DISCONTINUE USE IMMEDIATELY.

Service, Billing, and Cancellation Terms

1. Local SEO Partnership: The Local SEO Partnership begins with a 90-day initial engagement and is billed monthly. After the initial 90 days, it continues month to month and may be canceled before the next billing date.

2. Website Service: Website hosting and support are month to month unless a written agreement says otherwise. They may be canceled before the next billing date.

3. Recurring Billing: By accepting an ongoing service, you authorize Build Like A Business to keep your payment method on file and make the scheduled charges shown in your accepted proposal, quote, or invoice.

4. Refunds: Setup fees and fees already paid for completed work or work underway are nonrefundable.

5. Ownership and Handoff: You retain ownership of your domain, website, content, and business accounts. Website files are available free upon request. Optional managed website migration is available at the price shown on the current pricing page or in your written agreement.

6. Third-Party Costs: Developer fees, citation campaigns, paid directories, data aggregators, premium add-ons, advertising, and other third-party purchases are separate and require your approval before purchase. Third-party services remain subject to their own terms and policies.

Client Responsibilities and Approvals

You agree to provide timely access to relevant accounts, accurate business information, brand materials, and approvals. When website implementation is required, Build Like A Business sends the written brief to you; you are responsible for approving it, passing it to your developer, handling all developer communication, and agreeing directly with your developer on any cost. You retain final approval over service descriptions, technical business statements, guarantees, regulated claims, and changes made to accounts or public business information.

Build Like A Business will recommend priorities using available evidence. Work is organized by priority rather than by a fixed monthly task count; some months may center on one substantial implementation, while others may include several connected improvements.

General Terms

1. Intellectual Property Rights: The Content and Marks on the Services are our proprietary property and are protected by copyright and trademark laws. You are granted a limited license to access and use the Services for your personal, non-commercial use.

2. User Representations: By using the Services, you represent that you are of legal age, will not use the Services for any illegal purpose, and will provide accurate information.

3. Prohibited Activities: You may not misuse the Site, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, scrape or reproduce protected content unlawfully, or use the Services for an illegal purpose.

4. Governing Law: These Legal Terms and your use of the Services are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida.

5. Dispute Resolution: Any legal action of whatever nature brought by either you or us shall be commenced or prosecuted in the state and federal courts located in Duval County, Florida.
