Everything below is a real screenshot.

No recreations, no mockups, no rendered graphics dressed up to look like Google. I built this website for my own irrigation company, did its SEO myself, and this is what it did. You can go and check every bit of it.

Exhibit 1 · The ranking

#1 organically, while competitors paid to sit above the results.

This is an incognito search — no personalisation, no logged-in account tilting the results toward my own business. Two competitors are buying Sponsored placement at the top of the page. Underneath them, in the organic business results, is the site I built. On $0 in advertising.

Andy's Sprinkler has been going 39+ years. Grace Irrigation 30+. Entech shows "10+ years in business" and still sat above both of them.

Exhibit 2 · What the ranking actually did

A position is a vanity metric. This is the part that pays.

Ranking first only matters if it produces something. This is the Google Business Profile performance panel for the six months from December 2025 to May 2026 — the last half-year the company traded, while I was too ill to work and doing nothing to promote it.

9,064People viewed the profile
1,155Profile interactions
1,520Searches that surfaced it
$0Spent on advertising

Look at the search terms at the right of the panel. "Sprinkler repair jacksonville fl." "Irrigation repair near me." Those aren't people reading about irrigation — those are people with a broken system, looking for someone to call. That's the difference between traffic and customers, and it's the whole point of building a site properly.

Exhibit 3 · The gap

More than three times the reviews of the next company Google showed.

Reviews weren't the product — they were the by-product of doing good work for a long time and asking properly. But the gap is what made the listing hard to argue with when somebody was choosing who to call.

Exhibit 4 · The site itself

And it's still up. Go and look at it.

This is the part nobody else can offer you. Not a portfolio screenshot, not a case study PDF — the actual website, still live, that earned everything above. Open it, click through it, check how fast it loads. It carries a closure notice now, because the company shut down in 2026 when my health ended it.

Google also generated sitelinks for it — the sub-page links under a search result for Sprinkler Repair FAQ, Schedule Service, Contact. Google only does that when it can read a site's structure clearly. It's a quiet vote of confidence in how the thing was built.

What this proves, and what it doesn't.

It proves I can build a site that Google understands and ranks, and that I did it in a competitive local trade without buying a single ad. It proves I've done the work, not just read about it.

It doesn't prove you'll rank #1. That result came from a well-built site plus fourteen years of doing good work and earning reviews honestly. I can build you the first part. The second part is yours, and no one who tells you otherwise is being straight with you.

What I'll promise is the foundation: a site that represents your business well, built so Google can read it properly, with the groundwork done right. Anyone guaranteeing you a position is either guessing or selling.
